Understanding Trenton Politics, Power, and Municipal Government
Know the city. Understand the system. Change the narrative. Navigate with confidence.
Trenton Unlocked is a six-month, fact-based learning experience designed to help participants understand how Trenton’s municipal government and political system actually operate.
Beginning in January 2027, the program will include one three-hour, in-person session each month. There’s no homework. This is real information, practical knowledge, and open discussion about how to navigate the system with confidence.
The six sessions are:
• Trenton Beyond the Headlines
• How Trenton Government Works and Connects
• Advocacy, Power, and Influence
• Health, Wellness, and Community Resilience
• Access and Economic Opportunity
• Community Leadership and Service
Participants who complete all six sessions will receive a certificate.
