One of our most popular walks takes place
this Saturday along the Delaware River
Trenton Walks! will showcase the Mercer County South Riverwalk Park, built above the N.J. 29 Expressway, as well as Trenton's Marine Terminal Park, at its next walk this Saturday, July 13 at 9:30 a.m.
We will leave from and return to the Old Trenton Wharf next to Cooper’s Riverview at 50 Riverview Plaza. We’ll walk along the Delaware River behind the Trenton Thunder Arm & Hammer Baseball Park and along South Riverwalk Park to the Marine Terminal Park. On the walk, we will learn about plans for completing the Lower Wharf Park and Delaware River Heritage Trail gaps within the City of Trenton and Hamilton Township that will enable bicyclists and pedestrians to travel all the way from downtown Trenton to Bordentown, mostly off-road!
The walk will end at the 2025 RiverFest Celebration in the vicinity of the Trenton Thunder ballpark in time for the start of that event. Learn more at https://mercerme.com/mega-riverfest-celebration-combines.../.
