Turning Point Discovery Center

OUR MISSION: To help children jumpstart their imagination and tap into their creative genius as they discover the world around them through STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Mathematics) and to explore the history of Trenton as the turning point for American freedom.

What is Turning Point Discovery Center?

 

By engaging in Turning Point Discovery Center’s unique blend of hands-on STEAM educational activities (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Mathematics) and exhibits that highlight the history of Black and Brown Americans in Trenton, children up to age 14 from all walks of life will explore new interests while learning how Trenton became the turning point for American freedom. 

 

We believe that Black and Brown children need to see themselves in the history they are learning about. By creating a place that celebrates STEAM and shares a truly inclusive examination of our past, the TPDC can help our children to build thriving futures full of opportunity.
