Asé
I wanted to start the new year by returning to a few things that matter deeply to me: reading as a form of reflection, grounding ourselves spiritually, and being in real community with others.
Black Ink is not only a book club, but a creative space where reading and writing serve as tools for listening to yourself and others more deeply. We will gather to make space for understanding who we are, so we can uncover our passion, purpose, and direction.
Our conversations this month will be grounded in This Here Flesh by Cole Arthur Riley. Together, we’ll read, reflect, pray, and engage honestly in ways that make room for embodiment, faith, and belonging.
If you’ve been craving a more intentional way to begin the year, you are welcome.
There is room for you here.
You can find This Here Flesh on several platforms but a few copies will be available for sale at Classics next week. Please read half of the book before our first meeting.
