Property Tax Relief Public Events
The Fiscal Year 2027 budget provides property tax relief benefits for the Senior Freeze, ANCHOR, and Stay NJ programs. Information for each program can be found below.
Filing Deadline: The deadline to apply for the 2025 application is November 2, 2026.
Seniors (65+) and residents collecting Social Security disability benefits or Railroad Retirement disability benefits, please see the PAS-1 Filing Check List prior to visiting a filing assistance event for information and items you will need to bring with you.
Homeowners and renters under 65 and not collecting Social Security disability benefits, a government photo ID is required.
The following July filing events are available exclusively for seniors (65+) and residents collecting Social Security disability benefits. Check back in August when we open filing for all other applicants.
