NJRC in Partner with NJPOD Presents Free Expungement Clinic

Asbury Park Ocean Township Monmouth County

Wednesday, July 22 2026 from 10:00 AM to 02:00 PM

A criminal record can continue to create barriers long after an individual has completed their sentence, limiting access to employment, housing, education, and economic opportunity. Expungement is a critical legal tool that helps eligible individuals remove those barriers and move forward with greater stability, dignity, and independence.

NJRC is proud to partner with the New Jersey Office of the Public Defender, Garden State Equality, and JBJ Soul Community Kitchen to provide free legal consultations, eligibility assessments, expungement filing assistance, and connections to additional supportive resources.

Wednesday, July 22, 2026
10:00 AM – 2:00 PM
Garden State Equality Headquarters
308 Main Street, Asbury Park, NJ

Every expungement completed represents more than a legal process—it is an opportunity to access employment, secure housing, reunify with family, and fully participate in community life. Removing eligible records helps strengthen economic mobility, reduce barriers to success, and advance the principles of Second Chances.

RSVPs are encouraged, and walk-ins are welcome.
